As announced on the forum, here comes the F/A-18 Hornet giant-scale Air-To-Air version.
Ok, it's a Hornet and not a "Super"-Hornet, but it's my Hornet and I find it super
so let it be a "Super"-Hornet...
This jet is powered by 2 JetCat P200SX, the strongest RC-turbine at this time, pushing this jet with 460N (103lbs) of pure thrust for a weight of 31Kg (68lb).
A triple-gyro in "heading hold" mode gives an incomparable stability in every situation.
Weapons are of course available: One 20mm autocanon firing 15 shots per second, and 9 hi-speed rockets including AGM-65 Mavericks, AIM-7F Sparrow, AIM-9 Sidewinder and AGM-76.
When your target has been destroyed, let's have fun with a red-smoke-emitter to enjoy the victory!
You can also fly by night with the original FA-18 lights on the fuselage and vertical fins.
Commands are as follows:
CH.7 --> gears retract
CH.8 --> weapons on 3-pos. switch (idle, autocanon, Rockets)
CH.5 --> Smoke emitter.
