Most trolls use notification so that they can instantly detect when when a thread updates, their goal has nothing to do with the clarity of the forum/thread or promoting noobs/others to post their question and benefit from the wealth of information on the KnifeEdge/RCgroups forum. These trolls hate to re-read previous posts that have been edited, they love when you respond with another post as it derails/closes the thread.
