Even when a control surface’s hinge line is correctly defined in 3ds Max or Blender, RealFlight still appears to rotate it around the leading edge by default. This causes a visible mismatch between the graphical frame and the physical frame, especially for an all-movable stabilizer case (where...
The model is a custom one that I've been flying for long in RF9.5. I just exported it from RF9.5 (Export> Entire Aircraft) and tried to import as RF Archive into RFE.
I've managed to move other custom model from 9.5 to EVO before, but for now it does not seem to work for me for no apparent...
Whenever I try to import rfx(s) from RF9.5 to RFE, the software either crashes while importing, or import is done and crashes when I try to select the model. Any idea if I'm missing something or if there is a fix ?

I have a model in which a detachable item gets separated during flight. Although, the masses of all aircraft components are well set; the estimated center of gravity value after separation in "Aircraft" > Edit is not accurate.
Could it be possible to adjust cg value while flying (via a...
Is there a way to change wind speed and direction in a flight autonomously by a script or something?
For example, for the 1st 10 seconds, windspeed and direction are a and b. For the next 10 seconds they'd be changed to c and d.
I see that there're console commands for changing many parameters...
I'm trying to set objects folder and plane spawn positions to 0,0,0 or even other values as a reference to make it easier adding custom objects relative to them.
But everytime I adjust the positions, save, and close, positions are messed up with random values.
Makes sense. Thanks @legoman
is there something like a reference for the methods RF uses to make these calculations (aerodynamics, physics, etc) ?
so one can consider them when modeling a plane.
when defining my wing as "Wing" component, the plane experiences a rolling moving after discuss launching.
I changed the component into "Symmetrical wing" and the rolling movement is much less than before. The same airfoil and geometry are used for both cases.
any idea why is that?
