The Fabulous Bristol Bulldog by brentg, now in Half-Scale for RF 7.5…
One of my favorite Interwar Biplanes with fully modeled struts, landing gear and tail....including split elevator/rudder balances and lots of additional airfoil surfaces to trace the lines of those beautiful wings…
It may slow your frame rate a touch, but she deserves the effort if you want to blow her up beyond ¼ scale…
Typical of my other Half-Scale Mods, there are no high or low rates. Custom Torque Curve yields an approximate scale speed (70 =140) with a realistic engine sound humming along at a reasonable rpm (4300) and full power stalls in vertical climb…
slow and graceful by typically overpowered “model airplane” standards, just the way I like
Guns are on Channel 5 (at a slower “interrupter gear” rate!)
Cockpit Cam uses Channel 6 (scroll to pan) and Channel 8 (3-position for tilt)
A lot of effort went in to making her taxi, takeoff, fly and land more realistically in such a large size, I hope brentg doesn’t mind all that tinkering with his baby!
