This variant of the A-4 Skyhawk from Expansion Pac 5 is combat ready with guns, rockets and bombs. It is representative of the A-4C I flew with the VA-195 Dambusters in the 60's. The size is scaled to that of the carrier deck in my CVA07 airport. It lands nicely at slightly under 50 mph and full brakes are applied at idle throttle. Armament is controlled with the 3 position switch; back for bombs and forward for guns/rockets. The air brake is controlled with the hi/lo switch, landing gear and flaps with their normal controls. The tail hook only lowers at full flaps so it won’t drop if you want to make a realistic touch and go. (Not that is really matters since there are no arresting cables) When the flaps are lowered there is extra up elevator input to get the aircraft into the proper landing attitude.
