STOLP Acroduster 1 SA-700.

First introduced in 1973, the Acroduster I is a single-seat fully aerobatic biplane suitable for engines in the 125- to 200-hp range. Its fuselage is an all-metal structure constructed from lightweight alloy, and the wings are conventional two-spar structures with spruce spars, plywood ribs, and fabric covering.

Thanks to Erik Peterson for the model and initial paint scheme.

Various modifications for RF 7.5 to get good spirited model performance. When it comes to stunt aircraft some extra power is always a good thing.

Standard flight controls including smoke. No landing flaps or retracts.

As usual fly with the channel 5 rate switch in the “High” position.

Smoke is on channel 7.

Notes:

* Go easy with the throttle on take offs to prevent the aircraft from leaping into the sky.
* Fairly good controllable landings.
* Not for 3D aerobatics.
* Good conventional aerobatic performance, but not in the same league as a Pitts Special.
Think of this aircraft as a sport plane with decent aerobatic ability.

This is a sharp looking aircraft that is fun to fly. For the aerobatic pilots out there this would be a good addition to your collection.
