Arc-170 StarFighter
Exceptional flying Space Vehicle
Those that fined tuned this model did an exceptional job.
This variant added some visuals for engine thrust along with some control changes .

* 4 modes of propulsion from very slow to 1000+MPH
* Automatic thrust reverse for stopping.
* Automatic wing movement - speed and flight condition dependent
* R2D2 Always looking back and forth - up/down with elevator
* Guns/Rocket Fire

3 Position Sw. - Select 3 different main engines
Full Back - Stage 1 - good to 350+MPH
Middle - Stage 2 - 650+ MPH
Full Forward - 1000+ MPH
Pick your comfort zone - They all have zero to top speed capability ... and almost instant response.

Dual rate sw. - Gun & rocket fire sequence on each movement of the sw.

Rotary knob - Antigravity adjust - CW is increase strength.

Retract sw. - Forward is Pulse Engines Back is Main Engines engaged.

Operation

If you just want to hear R2D2 "Talk" turn Antigravity off (full CCW) with Engine sw. in Pulse mode and advance the throttle a couple of clicks. The pulse engines start and R2 comes to life.

Now slowly turn antigravity up and the plane will lift. The pulse engines are only for landing and slow maneuvering.

At any speed or engine selection, pulling the throttle to zero will engage the auto reverse thrust. The plane will stop but not go in reverse - pulse engine mode lands the craft at zero throttle.
(Floats "gently" down )

Engaging the main engines ( retract sw. back ) zero throttle will stop and hover depending on the amount of antigravity dialed-in.

Now select your power level and go get-em.

Taking off with main engines just requires selecting the power level at zero throttle then pulling the retract sw. back - thus engaging the antigravity engines - the craft will rise, and the wings will extend. Advancing the throttle will take you away.

A long explanation for the things you can discern yourself just by flying and flipping the switches.
