The 1970 Coffee Table Book, “The Great Planes” by James Gilbert was a gift from my Dad almost 50 years ago….Its something I still treasure today, a great reference to old planes, If you see it on Amazon, buy it!

The section on the Jungmeister has some great full page color shots of this red and white beauty, N1881.

I think it was owned by a guy named Art Yadven…Dad told me he was an (American Airlines?) Pilot back then.

So heres my take on that old memory.... good times and Great Planes.
