F4U-1 Corsair
Modified for RF 7.5 with enhancements

This variant modeled after another from this site by Cloudsplitter for RF ver 6.

A Great looking Flying and Sounding model by some talented people. Not sure of the original creator, but someone(s) out their are talented, and put their time in.

This version adds a slow startup engine, with black exhaust on startup and idle, with a nice, but not an actual Corsair engine.

Enlarged the model ( my preference for large scale ).
I run larger models with custom graphics set at 125% from the simulation menu / physics option. Seems a little more realistic to me.

Watch out, there are brakes activated by up evaluator, may tip forward on grass with full back pressure on the stick.


Other Features:

3 Position Sw.:
* Full Back - Wings Up Canopy open
* Middle - Wings down Canopy open
* Full Forward - Wings Down Canopy closed

Dual Rate Sw:

* Full Forward: Tail Hook down after landing gear deploys
* Full Back: Tail Hook up, or does not drop with landing gear deployment.

Rotary Knob: Flaps down fully clockwise.

Gear Sw: Gear down -Forward ... Up - Full Back. ( my preference)
