The P-36 Hawk was an inter-war fighter that saw extremely limited use during World War 2. Built by Curtiss, when the USAAC ordered 210 Hawks in 1938, at the time it was the largest order by the military for a fighter. Unfortunately, the plane lacked the performance of modern fighters of other nations and provided futile defense during the bombings in Pearl Harbor. Here I present to you a rendering of this fighter in 50% scale. This plane has scale speed and power, and is fun to fly. While this plane isn't remembered as the plane that won World War 2, but it was useful in the years leading up to it.
