This is the F8F-2P flown by the Squadron CO, Lt. Cmdr. D.C (Whiff) Caldwell. VA-19/VA-191 or, some references have him flying in VA-20.
Regardless, He did fly the plane off the USS Boxer [CV-21] 1950 with CVG-19 - WestPac tour, never saw combat.
There is an RC electric 1100mm version made by Eleven Hobby that is similar to this CS.
I have seen conflicting combat ribbon order placement. I cannot say it is totally accurate, but it is close and looks great on this Fantastic, nearly scale F8F-2 Grumman Bearcat by Technoid.
And yet in this video ... the ribbon pattern looks correct but they look lower down of the cowl ... which my other reference shows them even with the center-line.
But, it shows how excellent the F8F-2 scale work, Technoid has done with his model.
