Update 4/9/2019:
When the FBB was posted, I'd forgotten to complete the animation of the tail feather linkages.
Those have now been corrected.
Real world FBB has now flown-- very close to original posted RF version.
This is a RF8 model based on my second custom plane. For an extra challenge, this time it was a biplane, the Foam Board Biplane.
The real world build was for my own education, and hind sight being 20/20, there are certainly areas where there is room for improvement!
For example, as is often the case in a first design, the real model does weigh more than I'd hoped for.
The real world FBB has been jointly developed with its RF8 version. So, as much as is possible, the RF physics match those of the real model in weights and dimensions.
As the real world model did turn out a bit heavy, there will be a "FB Bipe lite" AV--- it should fly a bit better.
