The Aigle & Bex Aeromodelling GroupThe group is made up of 70 active members and 40 passive members. The club was founded in 1952 by a few people who were keen on aviation on the "Placettes" aerodrome in Bex. having evolved considerably, the members moved to the "Islands" airfield in Aigle. To fly we have at our disposal a pretty grass runway of 150 X 20 meters and a hard surface of 6 x 90 meters. For moments of relaxation, we have a cabin equipped with a canteen and a place to tinker with our models.
