Venator Smaller Size
Reduced the size and added some visuals for flight.
Flys pretty well ... may need some more features.

* Four engine stages
1.) Antigravity - Takeoff and hovering
2.) Impulse - for slow docking and maneuvering.
3.) Main - General Flying
4.) Stage 2 Booster - Get up and go fast.

Controls:

3 Position Sw.
Forward - all forward thrust engines off
Middle - Impulse Engine Engaged
Back - Main Engine Engaged, Impulse Engine off

Dual Rate -
Down - Antigravity System Off
Up - Antigravity System on - Controlled by Throttle

Retract Sw. Booster Engine On/Off
Up - Second Stage Booster on

Three Position sw. must be in Main engine mode before the Booster is active.

Knob
Opens/Closes one door on forward deck of ship.
Could not get second door operational, seems that its physical property is not set for opening.

Note on throttle operation.

The throttle is mapped to middle being zero. Down/Back is reverse and Up/Forward is forward motion

During hovering middle is hold altitude .

Reverse thrust- Full back on throttle

Reverse thrust will not fly backward, only used to slow down. It 's operation is speed dependent, diminishes thrust as it slows.
Why, the craft didn't fly backwards very well. You will hear the reverse thruster shut down at about 10 mph. It's pretty effective at slowing down from 500+ mph.

Let's get started.

1.) all switches forward and/or down.
2.) Antigravity on (dual rate up)
3.) Advance throttle to full, pull back at desired liftoff.
4.) Impulse engine on ( middle position of 3 pos. sw. )
5.) advance as needed.
6.) Main Engine on ( full back position of 3 pos. sw.)
7.) need more thrust pull retract sw. back

The main and booster engines are progressive.
from middle to about 1/3 forward, just the main engine. Then after that the booster starts engaging. This method provides a little more control.

Get going a little too fast, pull throttle all the way back and engage the reverse thruster.

You can also take off with antigravity on and impulse engines engaged . But it doesn't take off well without antigravity on.
If it had landing gear, and the nose at an angle, then maybe yes.

Someone did a nice job getting this started. Thanks !!!!
Now we can go from here.
