People who know this plane know this is what the plane could have been if the government hadn't thought they could build a plane better than the aircraft manufacturer.....(I think it's time they all seek gainfull employment) but that's another story..... any way; all laminer flow air foils, Rolls Merlin (turbo-supercharged) well gunned and well armored.... German pilots hated them in Russia.
