WEDELL –WILLIAMS RACER LARGE SCALE
From the “Golden Age” of aircraft the Wedell 44 held the world speed record of 305 mph in 1933.
With a wingspan of only 26’ it had a Pratt & Whitney 9 cylinder radial engine of 1020hp.
The model is fourth in my AV series of inter war classic monoplanes with a 12’ span and a top speed of 120mph, no bells and whistles on this one, just an enjoyable plane to fly. Have fun.
Usual controls with wheel brakes on up elevator.
Many thanks To Brentg for the EA.
