Although I'm familiar with the "P" key to mark a position to reset from, I'd like to have a plane just start up in the air when I boot up the field.

Any information on how to make such be an alternative spawn point, if I so elect? I'm also having trouble understanding how a pilot spawn point is "linked" to a plane spawn.

Did make the default plane spawn be at altitude, with a forward speed, but it has to fly into the field of view before the "look at aircraft" kicks in. Even though it will take the "y" coordinate, it seems to also not spawn if the distance is too far away - and RF then picks an alternative pilot/plane set of spawns on field startup.

Tried a search, but didn't find any old discussions about this.
Anyone have links that can clear up "how it works'?
