I've got a 300mgh with a GeForce2MX video card. Will a faster cpu improve my G2 peformance? What is a good Fps rate?

Sorry FPs I do not yet understand or where to find on my sytem. I have the GeForce2GTS on a PIII 800mHz with ME, HP, and 512Megs ram. I am maximumed all RF resolutions and objects out on my monitor at 1600x1200 at High color 16 bit with no pauses. Airplanes act perfect (6 years 3D flyer) and helocopters probably perfect (heli newbee). I have a slight problem with; the heli momentium counter action seems slightly long causing a residual acceleration when the 60 sized aircraft momemtium is over come. In other words; I find helicopters very very difficult to learn or there is a non-relaty relation in the simulation or my PC system. My hands on heli experience is just starting.
