Sorry kingdaddy, G4.5 will not work with integrated Intel cards. You must upgrade the video card if you want to run G4.5.

thanks
I was thinking that might be the problem. Will look into another card for now go back to G4 I guess. Any suggestions on a card for my system?

No, the integrated Intel graphics chips are not supported in G4.5. Hopefully, you're on a desktop that can be upgraded. In the meantime, use the launcher to revert to 4.0

My laptop has an integrated Intel graphic card/chip, so after reading this thread I understand it's not possible to run the G4.5 on my PC.

I tried to revert to any 4.0, but it seems that I still have some 4.5 files which it don't like ??

RFV4AUTO.DCK
RFV4_1.DCK
..
..
RFV4_6.DCK

KEERROR 32494
KEERROR 32495

Look at the attached jpg files. I also attached the assemble information.

I tried several times to any 4.0 versions, also cleared download cache, rebooted, but nothing helps

What can I do more ?

RF4.5 will not work with an Intel 945 video card. You must upgrade the card, or use RF on another computer.

Same message as the others

What do i need to do to update the card? I don't have another computer.

Lucky for you, KE just released an upgrade that allows your card to work. Check the News and Announcements subforum for info on the .036 update.

Yup! This worked for me!

Problems no more!

I uninstalled my virus and every thing worked perfect. Even disabling it did not work. I had to unstall it. I focused on the antivirus because the d3dx9 errors started immediately after.

I encountered this same error after installing G4.5 today.

My System Configuration:

Laptop Specs:
Laptop: HP Pavilion 9500T
CPU: 2.40Ghz Core 2 Duo
Memory: 4GB
O/S: Vista Ultimate SP1 x64
Graphics: GeForce 8600M GS ( 256 dedicated ) + ( 1791 shared ) = 1GB
Display: 17” 1440 x 900 32bit 59Hz
DirectX: 10 installed
Hard Drives: 640GB ( 320 X 2 ) 5400RPM

Confirming issue:

Went to c:\windows\system32
did search on d3dx9_
saw other d3dx9_##, but didn't see see d3dx9_36.dll

Re-Installed Diretx9

Inserted G45 DVD
Ran setup.exe as administrator from DVD
Selected Install
It didn't really perform an install as it saw G4.5 was already there.

When it asked if i wanted to install directx9, i said yes

I could see file d3dx9_36.dll being installed with some other .dll's

Relaunched RealFlight G4.5 Launcher

Everything ok

Rebooted system to make sure it would still work and it is

This should really be done by the installer/updater !

Why? This is a MICROSOFT DX Library component.

The version installed is directly dependant upon the version of DX you have installed.

If KE were to throw a file onto your system it could break other things.

Better to use the DX updater...
