Hello,

I took 360 pictures of the RC Club in Dubai, can you please guide me to add it in RealFlight?

360 Images: https://we.tl/t-9DuNuRbc74

Location: https://goo.gl/maps/ffSwGSSgAg8r7rcw6 (Runway is 250m long)

We are working on the 3D model for the obstacles, which format works?

Thanks a lot for your help.

welcome to the forums

I dont know anything about adding photofields to real flight and not many frequent posters know much either. there are posts in older versions of rf that give details on aspect ratios for the pictures. the feature to add photofields is an older feature well before taking 3d picture was click one and done. it is still in rf, but certain buttons may have moved to a different dropdown menu in the sim.

I know the pilot eye elevation is about 6 feet (2 meters) so that would be a good height to take the picture at maybe even multiple at different heights for good measure. having the distances between different collideable objects and the camera would be good. if the horizon is slightly off it is fixable in the airport editor.

there are lots of generic collision meshes in rf that are depth buffers so you might not need custom objects everything.

for custom objects .FBX is the file format to import objects.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply, I found out that you can import a Raw Panoramic picture directly in Realflight, it created the airport, but the quality is lower than the actual picture.
Any idea how to improve the quality?
Is there any expert on the forum to help with the objects and pilot position?
Thanks
Ludo
