With the winner of the last two polls being the F-105D I am starting an official thread for it here it will take a slight backseat to the skyraider until it is finished.

Acceptable or do we want a differnet payload? say Nuke, drop tanks. multipayload will be more difficult with this plane than the skyraider.

How about a Wild Weasel payload?

The wild weasel has two seat Fuselage which is different and I don't want to do two "major" components because all of the children (aka everything) would have to be duplicated

Granted. But you could do a simple payload like the Wild Weasel has. I'm just not fond of huge payloads I like looking at the plane not the payload.

Nice to see the Thud being modeled. I live right where Republic Aviation was headquartered on Long Island.

Real nice feature Legoman, looking into the belly of the beast, so to speak....:D

The only difference now is the turbine is four feet farther back because an exhaust pipe that I was going to use to mid mount the engine was going to weight 14+ pounds which was more than the engine itself. So I tried moving the engine back and it flew okay so thats were its gong to be.

I was going to ask If you`ve had it RF yet because you said "It flew OK", BUT, then, I saw that you have a pic. of it in RF in post #1. SO, How is it, that you have that pic. in RF, before it`s been modeled. Were you saving your build pics. for use at a later date..???
