I have a semi-scale, go fast plane which I have no plans to finish. The reason I am not finishing it is "It is not scale enough" for me because no engine would realisticlly fit in to the cowl and power a full size plane. The closest engine is 2x Wright Tornado and 4,000 hp on an 80 foot wing span would not cut it for performance in the late 40's early 50's. As a model airplane It is great
It is design to fly flat out with 2 5s 5000 mah at 160+ mph with nose pointed straight towards the horizon to minimize drag. Or fly on 2 3s 2100 mah at part throttle.
All pivots are easy to place with no/single integer rotations required; physics are done. Needs mapping and landing gear wells need cut.
