front wheel dips below the scenery, preventing takeoff

hello all,

I have had RealFlight for quite awhile, but only just now getting into downloading custom made aircraft. The first problem I ran into most often was the plane bouncing up and down on the ground, which after searching the forums was able to fix by changing the gear type from "springy wheel." However, after fixing that problem (bouncing), what I am running into now is the nose gear dipping down into the runway after power is applied, dragging the nose on the ground and preventing takeoff. I apologize if this was already addressed in a different thread. I am new to the forums, and would appreciate any help. thank you

i had one doing that and the front gear was springy round steel and the mains were just set at round steel after i set the mains to springy round steel it stopped what your describing , hope this helps

This will happen when the collision mesh is equal to or smaller than the wheel diameter.

Or if the Z buffer height of the airport runway is not correct.

Also note that it is realistic for the nose to dip into the grass.
