Two part question:
1) It seems like G4 crashes quite a bit when changing between fullscreen and windowed mode. Now I can hear you say already "well just don't do that" - unfortunately, G4 will make that switch (a few times even...) everytime you select a new plane or airport.
Are you guys experiencing the same?
2) I have what I would consider a pretty stout PC. Dual core 2.4 Ghz, 2 GB and an ATI Radeon HD 2600. Yet on 3D airfields I seem to be getting a pretty dysmal framerate. Under 10 to be exact... On photo fields I get 60+ easily, but 3D fields can be tough. I played with the graphics options a lot. I can get the framerate up a bit (still only around 20), but at the high cost of jaggidy rendering.
What kind of settings are you guys running to optimize the graphics/performance balance?
