Help with plane building

if you get wings3d can not do everything need for rf so you will also need blender.

In my opinion
wings3d is simpler to learn but you need both it and blender.
blender can do it all but you will lose some hair the first time you use it.

after you model the plane, what do you do next? how do you get it into real flight?

once the plane is modeled, pivots are placed, parts are named, smoothing groups or edge splits are set, and if you want the plane paintable it will need to be UV unwrapped. once all that is done you will need to export a .fbx file to the same folder as the .tga file then import it to rf.

Never tried Wings but can confirm hair loss with blender.

I figured myself I’d just stick to Blender because it seems an interesting hobby in its own right. It’s a right contrary, idiosyncratic beast though, that said.
