How to trim aircraft

Hi, I am new to RF and I have RF 8 connected to Laptop. Everything seems to work okay but how do you use the RF8 transmitter to trim the aircraft whilst it in in the air

Most stock planes should not require any. The trim levers below or beside the sticks will provide the adjustment. If you adjust for one plane, it is not memorized for that plane - so if you load another plane, readjust, and then go back to the first, you'll again have to adjust the settings.

Using the airplane editor, there is a way to make the adjustment permanent...but that should probably wait until you are much more comfortable with the software.

How to trim on the fly

Simply use the trim tabs beside or below each control stick, aileron, elevator, rudder. It is a momentary up down switch, The flaps are dialed in as needed with the knob. Hope this helps and that I understood your question correctly. :)

when i have all the trims centered, the plane is not flying level, i have to trim the elevator all way to lowest setting and similarly trim aileron all way to left extreme end even though when i zoom to plane everything looks centered. is there a way to trim it in editor,

valentino1801 - you need to calibrate your controller. "Simulator" then "Select Controller" if using the older menus. Or "Settings", "Controller", "Configure Controller" if using the new menus in Evolution. There's a Calibrate button that will start up instructions as to how to do it.

i have calibrated the controller within the simulator, calibrated edge tx and also went on to joy test in windows and calibrated there as well. It's not a big deal, but having to trim the plane so much should not be necessary since when I zoom all looks centered. Using dongle just FYI and thank you for your response

What plane? Same behavior for several?

In the controller setup, are the boxes shown checked or unchecked?

Which dongle - Spektrum, Frsky, or a different one?
