How to use a tx16 with G4.5

I own a copy of G4.5 and have the controller but its using mode 1 and i also have a tx16 with mode 2. is there any way to use my tx16 with the sim?
 
Maybe - if you have the patch cords that originally came with the controller. You need to use the "audio" type trainer jack on the TX16 to patch to the jack on the old RF Controller. This system was originally for use with Futaba, Airtronics, JR type TX's. It may take a bit of playing with the setup of the TX16 to get the output to be what RF expects. Or upgrade to Evolution, then you can use the tx16 direct via USB, or using a Spektrum/Frsky dongle for wireless.
