Import Models while running parallels on Mac

I am successfully running parallels on my M1 Mac but when I import my custom models, RF crashes every time. I go through the normal process of 1) my realflight - 2) Import - 3) Realflight archives - 4) choose the correct file. It imports and then shows up in the list of aircraft and when i click on it, realflight crashes
