Initializing physics & giving credit

I'm finally to the point where I'm actually making (for now, really dorky looking) aircraft in Blender and importing them into RealFlight. But I have a question for whenever I have one good enough to share with all of you:

The import process involves copying physics from an existing airplane. ("Please select an aircraft to initialize your model from.")

so...

Should I give credit to whoever created the airplane that I initialize physics from?

You'll need to rework the physics to make it fit your plane so I don't see any reason to give credit to anyone.
