Installation problem with XP

I was previously running RealFlight Deluxe on Windows 98 with no problems.

But now when I install it on Windows XP I get the following messages:

"Error:
One or more of the parameters passed to the function are incorrect.
File: L:\kelib\Directdraw\DXDirectinput.cpp
Line 649"

Then when deleted, the following message appears:

"Error initialising joystick interface"

When deleted the program shuts down.

Would appreciate any help on how to fix this.

Your video card(s) may not be DX9 compliant. Get them checked.
