Miss Vintage

Looks nice, off to a good start, but if you look closely at your previous pic., (post #19) you notice a slight inward curve/radius on the spokes.
Yes, that's correct. The only thing I did was select the inside polys of the spokes and then use bridge to connect them. Then I selected each spoke and made it thicker. That looks good enough to decide if I want to use it. But I'll probably add that slight curve inward if I decide to use the wood spoke wheels. So... which one do you like best. The metal spokes or the wood?

Another baby step. I just added the hstab, but only the left side I'll mirror it later to create the right side.

Unrelated question. Does Ai have feelings? If you ask it to do something and don't say thank you, what would be it's reaction?

I just finished the vstab so a little bit more progress. I don't really know why I report such small steps. I guess it's just something to do.

I added the fuselage today, or I guess I should say the forward part of it. All the lattice work still needs to be done. But the fuselage, wing, hstab, and vstab are there so it's starting to look like something. For some reason sometimes I want to make it a 2-Stroke. Maybe because the plan has a 2-Stroke on it.

For some reason today seems to be a dud for me. I can't get interested in working on the plane. I'm undecided on a couple of details so I think I'll just punt and play my game. This ain't much of a plane anyway, sometimes I feel like dumping it.

I think I'm going to do a mid-build switch and make this plane a Mr Vintage instead of a Miss Vintage. Mr Vintage has a 70 inch wingspan so I'll go with that instead of upscalling a Miss Vintage originally with a 59 inch wingspan to 80. I also like a couple of things about the Mr Vintage better.

After thinking about it I'll probably stick with my original plan and keep the Miss Vintage name (it sounds better) and scale the original size to 80 inches. I doubt that anyone would care and that's a good size for me. As for an update on my progress I adjusted the length of the aileron and detached it from the wing. I also did a few final tweaks to the lattice work.
