Models utilizing small combustion engines

Hey guys, I came across a video on youtube showing Ronald Valentine and the worlds smallest hand made engines. I thought to myself, I've never seen any engines in Realflight this incredibly small.

Have a look at his website and get a feel for how ridiculously small these combustion engines are.

I mean this is crazy. The video I saw really gives you a good visual reference of how small these engines are--they are pricey too, but they are 100% handmade.

Anyone have any ideas on planes we could build in Realflight to use engines like these. I'm thinking maybe some small warbirds. I would love to hear how these engines actually sound.

Wow that is small.

I can imagine that tuning the twin cylinder diesel will be a bit of a bi-eatch!

funny ...Speaking of small engines ,
just today
one my friends in California shared this with me on my facebook page

Its a Nitro methane ,water cooled V-8
in a 1/4 scale '34 ford R/C Hot Rod.

He has been working on this engine for years..
he HANDMADE EVERY PART ..he now has it running

I posted a link just to see if it would work
but being facebook ....it doesn't let you go there

so I got a screeny .,I wish you guys could hear it

@ matt I'll share it with you on your timeline

yup ..Tom is a vary talented guy , machinist ,auto mechanic extraordinaire...no matter how big or as you've seen small it is
He knows his way around anything that has a piston in it blindfolded
Tom's now retired ...used to own a 'speed shop" in The S.F. valley near L.A.
that catered to corvettes..you should'a seen his corvettes !
no...
you should'a heard and at the same time 'felt" his corvettes ...if you Know what I mean.. Toms cars always looked like 100mph ,standing still ...

now if someone had the $ and could talk him it too making a scale mini Merlin 12 cyl.for a scale P-51 or a dB 12 for a scale BF or ME-109...THAT would be awesoommme.!

When the engines get that small, are there commercially made props available or do those also have to be hand made?
