Muscle Bipe Bushmaster

I played with this a while back but never finished it, so I thought I'll play with it a little more.

Does it look better in yellow and black? I got the gray colors from the Extreme Flight Legacy Bushmaster, but I'm not sure which one to use for the Muscle Bipe Bushmaster.

I also adjusted the spec map to give it a Satin finish instead of High Gloss, which is better to you? I'm not finished with the fuselage yet.

I'd prefer the yellow and black version.

Here it is in Red and White. In the end I'd release the yellow and red CS so you could take your pick.

I did a little tweaking this morning to the physics for the bushmaster wheels. I still have a little CS work to do on the fuselage but it's moving along pretty well. This is just a little project to give me something to do. I can't seem to get interested in starting a full project.

I added the stripes on the fuselage this morning. I think the only thing left is a few crossover stripes.

I had lowered the gloss and wasn't planning to add a stroke on all the stripes, just to be different. But in the end I didn't like it that way so I put the gloss back and added a black stroke on all the stripes, and I think it looks much better now.

I finished adding the crossover stripes so I think I'm finished with it. I'll play with it a bit and then release it.

Out of curiosity I created a brown-green camo color scheme for it. I probably need to reduce the gloss a little, it is kind of dark when you're flying it.

The original camo color scheme I posted seemed a little dark so I created another one that's lighter, BUT, I'm not sure which one looks better. The original darker one, or the lighter one. So take a look at these four pictures and tell me which one looks better to you, the darker, or the lighter.

The "first" and "third" pictures are the original darker camo.

Both color schemes look great, maybe the lighter one looks better in the sim because of its stronger contrast..

It looks like I'm finished with the plane and I'm going to release it with the Camo color scheme, that seems appropriate for this plane. But I'm going to release the Blue, Red, and Yellow color schemes too. So you can pick what you want.

I went back and tweaked the green in the camo color scheme a little, it seemed a little to normal green to me instead of the military green. But it still has a good contrast like before.

I've been looking for something to do and this caught my eye (a 70 inch fpv). I may or may not do anything with it but I'm thinking about it. I guess I would model it to fly around in RF-X again. I did a lot of that in the different flelds when RF-X came out and really enjoyed it. It's really too bad they didn't keep RF-X going it could be a really cool version of realflight now since graphics cards are so much more powerful. Anyway I'm just looking around. This plane is a hand launch with just one wheel in front and a tail wire in the back.
