RealFlight G3 version 3.50.042 is now available as a public beta download. This version fixes the major issues with 3.50.033 and contains some minor tweaks to 3.50.041.
Competition pilot Jason Noll was here all this week evaluating the flight model and airplane setups. He was very pleased with the flight physics, and his recommendations for configuration changes to specific airplanes were included in version .042. We have another competition pilot, John Glezellis, coming next week to do a final pass on the current version. This, combined with the results of our own testing and the feedback we've received from our users, means this is pretty much the final version of this particular update. I want to be clear, in an effort to avoid some of the confusion that has occurred in the past: the only feedback we are looking for and are able to use at this point is if you find what we call a "showstopper" bug. Examples would be a reproducible crash or missing files in the online update.

Perform the following steps to obtain the update. Note that you can skip straight to step #5 if you are already connected to the public beta site.

- Start the RealFlight G3.5 Launcher
- Click Additional Options, then Technical Support
- Click Enter Tech Support Code
- Enter the following code: B#a55q8j459q43 (If successful, you will see a message saying "You are now registered to use the Public Beta site until the new version is posted to official download site.")
- Go back to the main Launcher menu and click Registration/Updates
- Make sure that in the bottom left corner it says Temporary Public Beta (PS). If not, try reentering the code
- Click Update to Latest Version, or click Update to Specific Version, choose 3.50.042 from the list, and click OK.
