New old plane question

OK I'll be blunt with this one.
How pissy will people be if I were to do a new version of an aircraft that was previously only available through the old add-ons, old swap planes and alike?
When I say new it will be from scratch. Plans on up.

You can build whatever you want. Out of curiosity, what plane is it.

Ah coool. I didn't want to step on any toes or run headlong into legal walls.
It'll be at least the F-16A/B/I/CCV maybe XL based off this one:

A couple of Top Flite OOB/Ancient kits.
Better textured Piper Cub/Grasshopper.
Beechcraft Staggerwing w/ retracts.
F/A-18 Hornet and others.

But who knows what I'll actually do. It all depends on my mood and what not
