Questions about the VTOL Flight controller

Hi, I bought RF 9.5 with the hope that it may help me simulate a two rotor VTOL aircraft I'm designing.

I noticed that there is a VTOL flight controller used in a few planes such as the Osprey V22, but these are tri-rotor setups.

I'm wondering if the controller can be used in my configuration using only two tilt rotors. And if not, is it possible to program your own controller?

I use my Interlink DX controller all the time with the Verticopter in X Plane 11. I use the knob to tilt and right slider to add air brakes. You can use anything you like for most other options.

The RF Osprey uses 2x motors, not tri-rotor so I think you can use similar setups.
