After 7 years of being out of the r/c flying sport I have come back in. Got my AMA membership and have joined a flying club. Now for a question. I have been seriously thinking about purchasing r/c pilot to get some practice before I go to the field for the first time. Does anyone here consider this simulator worthy of a $100.00 purchase price and will it help me hone some of my rusty skills? Thanks Alan

I do not have any experience with RC pilot.

But...

Using RealFlight, I was able to solo alone, with out any instruction other than reading books and magazines. I just flew my Cap232 40 size after flying a trainer, and sport model for about a year.

So, I would say that if RC pilot is any good it is well worth the $100 for practice and honing your skills. Better yet look into RealFlight G2.

Don't bother me now, I'm flying RFG2...
