We are pleased to announce that RealFlight version 9.50.024 is now available as a free public release for all versions of the software (DVD, Tower Hobbies Digital, and Steam)!
We've addressed some reported issues from the initial 9.5 release and threw in a few more niceties. Read on for details.

DVD and Tower Hobbies Digital versions
Start the RealFlight Launcher. The option to update will appear below the usual "Run RealFlight" button.
Steam version:
You can trigger the update by completely restarting Steam. Right click the Steam icon in your system tray and select Exit. Once everything closes, run Steam again, and the update should complete.

- E-flite Night Timber X 1.2m (both variants): Reversing motor is controlled by Ch. 7 (Switch A on the InterLink DX), making it more readily accessible to different controller types
- E-flite Night Timber X 1.2m (both variants): Motor defaults to forward direction when Ch. 7 is unmapped or centered
- E-flite V1200 1.2m: Responds properly to steering input while taxiing
- Hangar 9 Pitts S2B 50-60cc: Added smoke, controlled by Ch. 7 (Switch A on the InterLink DX)
- Schweizer Float Heli: Changed launch type to From Water
- All E-flite, Hangar 9, HobbyZone, and ParkZone aircraft: Added switch summary info to ends of descriptions
- Eli Field: Changed pilot spawn name to be more descriptive
- Sandy Point: Added a water spawn for float helis
