RealFlight Add-Ons in Vista...

I have the RealFlight Add-Ons 1 to 5 for RealFlight G4.5 installed and working fine on Win XP. However, I am unable to properly install the same add-ons in Win Vista Home Premium. Does anyone have the fix for this issue?

In Win XP, the add-ons go into the 'RealFlight G4/Data' file folder. In Win Vista Premium Home, the data file is found in 'RealFlightG4/Cache/Data' file folder. When installing the add-ons into this folder the RealFlightG4.5 program does not 'see' them.

I even Copy/Pasted the 'RealFlightG4/Cache/Data' file folder and placed it into 'RealFlightG4/Data'. But this didn't work either.

What is the proper way to install the RealFlight Add-Ons files into RealFlight G4 on Win Vista Home Premium? Many thanks...

Downloading, Extracting, and Installing, Add Ons, to Proper Location

This "Updated Procedure" Works for Windows 7, 8, & 10
Try this:

If it works for Vista let me know and Ill add it to the list

In Windows 7-10, After the Download:
There are Two Locations, Designated "Data", where info was sent.
C>"Program Files (x86)" (in 64 bit) or "Program Files", (in 32 bit)
Example: C>Program Files (x86)>RealFlight7>Data> RFAOV1_G4.dck
This is where the "dck files" from RealFlight Add On Volume 1, were sent.

The other location:
C>Users>Bob>Documents>RealFlight 7>Data> RFAOV1_G4.adj.
This is where the "adj files" from RealFlight Add On Volume 1, were sent.

The problem in the OP resolved itself. I'm not sure how but the RealFlight4.5 files in Windows Explorer somehow rearranged themselves. I have now installed the Add-Ons per the original instructions in the 'RealFlight4/Data' file folder.

I don't know how or why it now works when it didn't before...

(Sincerely, thanks for the help in any case)
