RealFlight G3.5 known issues

A couple of issues have come to our attention since we've released G3.5.

1. The "trainers" do not support controller channel mapping. This is a bug that unfortunately wasn't noticed during testing. This will be a trivial fix.

2. Reverting from G3.5 to G3 is apparently problematic. Curiously, we haven't been able to reproduce this one in house. We'll continue to look into it.

3. Torque rolling in G3.5 is a bit harder than before due to a reduction in the airflow coming off the prop. As a workaround, if you prefer the G3 feel of things, you can increase the "prop wash factor" in the engine's advanced options.

4. Among many flight model changes made for G3.5 is a change to the depth of the stall bucket that we are currently investigating due to feedback from users that the aircraft are too resistant to stall/snap maneuvers.

All of these issues are currently under investigation and will be addressed in our next patch. Please don't ask us when a patch will come out. We need time to assess the work in front of us before we will know. But rest assured that Knife Edge will work through these outstanding issues.

If you are concerned about any of the above features then feel free to hold off on performing the upgrade to G3.5. The last version of G3 was quite stable and still enjoys a lively community.

However, upgrading to G3.5 adds many new features, fixes a number of bugs, and is the option that the vast majority of users are expected to take.
