Thats not the issue at all opjose. I've got stuff finished and ready to go but dare not post untill I have "permission" from all the respective copyright owners, I believe nemos in the same boat. I've got emails out to different companies and have been waiting for a responce. Read the rules of posting that KE put up
HERE
That is the "proper" way of doing things.
However as Knifeedge did, there is no need to model an original aircraft exactly.
The Dominion is a great generic heli.
Some changes would be enough to avoid copyright issues... in your case... although I wasn't referring to your wonderful models.
There were a lot of people complaining about the lack of the import filter.
Now that it's out... the silence is deafening.
Other sims have boat loads of user created add-ons and only rarely does the logo/copyright issue come up.
There was a recent case with American Airlines and a web site hosting user created models for MS Flight Simulator. (AA finaly gave in and gave the site a "blanket" copyright permission so that they could say that they have protected their assets... nice move AA!!!)
But when this does come up, it bites hard... ugh.
In any event there is nothing to preclude people putting up things like old warbirds, military planes, their own model designs, variations on existing craft etc.
These forums should now be repleat with the first wave of user created models...but all we see are requests.
This was not directed to Nemo and Flyguy, rather I was hoping to get people to start utilizing the new capabilities (I know I'm trying) instead of just posting requests...
