RF-8 Screen Shots

When you described the manor you were going to build your 38, I determined that it was not what I would be interested in so I have not kept up with the build so I know little of it other than it is less scale than your Bearcat. That is not meant to offend you or anyone else, it's just what I prefer.
I'm not aware of the dimensions and projected weight, so I would not make any suggestions, however the real bird is a MAGNIFICENT flying machine and has a sound that it shares with no other plane.

No problem that build thread is gone I'm working on it from home with no build thread. I was curious on the engines you liked I might model one.

Working on a new batch of Riley Mod B color schemes. This will be a series of what I'm calling my "Beer Barrel Racers", and when finished will number about 20. Some of them go back a ways as they are ones I remember when I was a kid and dad and his friends were watching foot ball games. Some of the beers are gone,Dads gone and all of his friends are gone, but some great memories still remain.ScreenShot1619275121.jpgScreenShot1619277584.jpgBlack Label 1.jpgCoors Light 1.jpgCoors Banquet 1.jpgScreenShot1618757060.jpg

Fantastic art work.! Great work U-Bird
Fantastic, thats a word i have never heard used to discribe anything I've ever done, However I'll say your more than welcome to that opinion. I'm a scale guy, always hve been and when I first saw the Riley, I said, there's a plane that should have been, it's got OH Yea all over it. I have been painting it every since. I love the war birds, but some of the civil planes are outstanding examples of flying.
The guys I envy are the guys that can build spectacular plane and then paint them to really make them a outstanding example of the art. Now there is a small band of brothers.
Thank you for the kind words, I'm working on 3 more and when finished I'll post the good ones. This stuff on computers came really late for me so I'll just paint the plane I like and the ones that come along that say, PAINT ME...RC.
Your jet is looking FINE.

So long as you don't become 'those' kind of people porting models left and right, and keep up your gorgeous scratch build 3d models, that's alright.

Shame because we had someone doing that here, and on IL-2 1946, people started wanting the ported and crap effort models (without damage models/etc) and that killed my IL-2 1946 modding there and then.

Beer Barrel Racer No. 4 Work in progress.........
Finished up No. 4 in this series, starting on No's 5&6 and then will post if they all look good. The next 2 are Beers that are brewed in the same state.
