RF 9.5 Opening Only from Launcher

I'm running RF9.5.038 which used to start straight from the RealFlight 9.5 tile button in the Windows 10 Start Menu.

However, recently it's started opening only from the RF9.5 Launcher.

Any ideas please?
 
I still use the DVD version of RF 9.5 (9.5.038) and it still starts from my Windows 10 start menu. (NON Launcher). I have a shortcut on the desktop for the realflight.exe file but I tried the way you mentioned just to see if it works. I know that doesn't help you but I just wanted to pass on the information.
 
Maybe something happened to the connection between the Start Menu tile and the program.

To fix it, I would remove the tile from the Start Menu (right-click it, and then choose "Unpin from Start"). Then, put it back by going to C:\Program Files (x86)\RealFlight9, right-click RealFlight.exe (not Launcher9.exe) and choose "Pin to Start".
 
That's fixed it for most of the time thanks flightengr. Don't know why I didn't think of that myself.

It's still a bit flaky, and for some reason only works on the second attempt at clicking the tile, but it's acceptable.
