RF Basic controller compatability

Hello, just bought RF Basic, wish I had bought 6 or 7.5 now. Question, can the RF Basic contriller be used in 6 or 7.5, that way I can just buy a used CD of 6 or 7.5.. I am new to this and any advice will be appreciated. John

no.. you do not have a upgrade path. You need to buy the whole product.

Sorry guys it does work, you have to hols the key down, no visual indication just the noise of the wind increasing....... J

The user interface in RealFlight Basic was deliberately kept very simple, eschewing the use of text as much as possible so that the same software would work equally well in many different countries without requiring translation. As you discovered, however, the wind is one area where some additional feedback would make clearer what is happening.
