RF EVOLUTION NOT RESPONDING

Hello,

I've recently installed the RF 9.5s and evolution, it's been a couple of years since I played last time on another laptop.
My current laptop specs are:
THINKPAD P16S
Nvidia T550
12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1260P 2.10 GHz
RAM 16.0 GB
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

When the sim launches it zooms to a plane, then stops. The controller is not responding. The FPS indicates 500-600.
On the RF9.5s the menu on top seems like not responding and on the evolution it doesn't appear.

I have the controller connected to a Targus USD 3.0 4-port hub (model: ACH155).

Very common problem. RF doesn't get along with Intel video in 12th Gen or later because Intel dropped support for DirectX 9.

Here's a post with what I had to do on my laptop to get Windows to use the nVidia card for the RealFlight program.

The other option would be to switch to the Evolution DX11 Beta version, which is coming along quite well but still a work in progress. More about how to do that here.
