RF-X version 1.0

I have a DVD version of RF-X version 1.0. I haven't used it in a long time (since 2018-ish), but want to install it again. What is the latest updated version of this that is downloadable. Thankfully I still have my DVD case with the serial number on it. I looked in the downloads section of the RealFlight website, but couldn't figure out which one is the upgraded version of this one. Is it RealFlight Evolution 10.10.193 ?
Thanks for the help!

RF-X has been abandoned. When Knife Edge Software sold Real Flight to Horizon Hobby, the rights to RF-X were not included. KE had already stopped any development on it before the sale. There is no place to download updates, and in these forums all sub-forums (including any swap pages) for it have been taken down, since this forum was also transferred to HH. Ditto for any other product websites. You can try to install it, but if it requires any online activation, you will be out of luck.

RF-X was too far ahead of its time, graphics wise, and sales tanked due to needing what then were very high end computers. Many of the secondary features were not available when it was released, which further deterred sales Evolution is an advance of the older versions, with the older graphics - although it has been updated to run on DX11. It includes almost all of the old planes and fields from the expansion disks one used to have to buy seperately, along with some new. Via Steam, there are additional new planes/fields available for purchase.

RF-X registration and updates appear to be working, see attached pic, (screenshot taken today)
I recall seeing a post that Ryan Douglas mentioned the registration was supported as a courtesy to RF-X users.

You beat me to it! :)

That's correct. While RF-X is a discontinued product that Horizon Hobby does not own, by arrangement with Knife Edge Software we currently provide activation and online update services for it as a courtesy.

That is not guaranteed to continue and could end without notice at any time. Having said that, as of this writing we do not have plans to do so.

Thank you Flapper, asj and Ryan for the info. I knew someone here would have the info I needed. I'll dig out my DVD drive and install it sometime and see how it goes.

And apologies for my initial bad news! Good to hear that it can be kept alive. Although I never purchased it, I'm one of the group that wishes it could have been kept alive and improved.
