RF9 with DX8 and WS2000 heli help!!!

New user here and trying not to get annoyed but this setup compared to phoenix is a nightmare and more difficult to setup than my real helis. Now to the problem. I'm trying to setup my switches as I would in real life. FInally got TH set but now I can not get idle up modes. Also, it only flys now with throttle starting/cutting off at mid stick or higher. This is very frustrating. please help
