Spawns?

I am brand new to the hobby and I have not received G4.5 from my friend yet but I was looking at some of the downloadable airports from the swap pages and noticed that some said Pilot spawns, What does that mean? Thanks in advance.

Its your point of view or the place you are "standing" at

There are also plane and heli spawns which is the spot your aircraft starts from after a reset after crash for example

3d fields can have several pilot and aircraft spawns ...... you can actually have multiple airports at the same time if created using a large map like "Sierra Nevada "

photo fields can only have one pilot spawn (ground view).... but can have several aircraft spawn points ...one at the end of the runway ,another in front or where you are "standing" etc

Thanks alot Numbskully for explaining that. Just got word that my G4.5 should be here this weekend and I can't wait.
