Spektrum ix14+ ws2000 dongle and dual rates?

With my old dx8e, I can assign dual rates to individual switches on my radio and not use the software mixes and dual rates option in Realflight. However, with my new ix14+, the software completely ignores the same approach. The display on the radio shows the reduced movement expected for the servo travel, yet the software ignores the radio and moves the control surfaces 100%. As a result, I have to use the software approach and lack the individual controls desired for the precision maneuvers I am trying to practice. Any solutions?

I did that, just like I do for the dx8e. The dual rates no longer work at all with the ix14+. I'm wondering if it has to do with the airware software and how it communicates through the ws2000 dongle. the ix14+ works fine with Spektrum (and Lemon DSMX) receivers in the airplanes. It just won't allow dual rates in Realflight.

The iX14 should work just like the DX8e. If you turn off "Enabled Software Radio Dual Rates and Expo", then your transmitter will be in full control of the rates and RF will do nothing to try to apply lower rates.

My first guess on this one is that maybe you were set for low rates on the iX14 when you calibrated the iX14 with RealFlight. That would explain why there seems to be no difference in the stick movement in RF with either low or high rates, even though your transmitter is showing the difference on the Monitor screen.

I'd make sure to be on high rates and then calibrate again.

Thanks for the mention there to bring this to my attention. Usually I don't follow the Beta forum.
Any help or advice will be much appreciated. I would like to use my newer ix14+ to become accustomed to the "slight" difference compared to my DX8e.
