I haven't personally encountered that with Steam, but it certainly does sound frustrating!
(FWIW I did end up in a similar situation once with something totally unrelated to RealFlight or Steam, where I was quite confident I was answering correctly but somehow ended up trapped in a loop. I think, like
@newby, I escaped it by using a voice option, but it was some time ago and I can't remember for sure now.)

Steam support page, which is the right place to go for these kinds of issues that have to do with the Steam service itself and not our software specifically. (
@Bill Stuntz, I assume that's where you went.) We would still do our best to help if possible, though.
If a lot of our users end up getting stuck, it is something we could mention to Steam through a Support ticket of our own as a publisher. They wouldn't drop everything to overhaul the entire system based on a complaint from just us, but it would be data for them, and if enough users are struggling with it that could prompt some action.
